Welcome to James F. Rhodes High School, a proud Cleveland public school with a rich history, strong traditions, and generations of Rams who have called our school home.

For decades, Rhodes has served as a beacon of opportunity in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn community. Our school is more than a building on Biddulph Avenue it is a place where students from across our city come together to learn, grow, compete, build relationships, and prepare for what comes next.

We are proud of our tradition of academic achievement, athletic excellence, and community pride. Rhodes has a rich athletic history that has brought our students, alumni, families, and community together for generations. From championship teams and outstanding student-athletes to the countless Rams who have represented our school with pride, athletics remain an important part of the Rhodes experience. We believe the lessons learned through competition—discipline, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and commitment extend far beyond the playing field.

That same spirit of excellence can be found throughout our classrooms, programs, clubs, activities, and community partnerships. At Rhodes, we want every student to discover their strengths, develop their talents, and understand that their education can open doors to opportunities throughout Cleveland and beyond.
